KDP Caucus Spokesperson Praises Kurdistan24’s Coverage of ISIS War

KDP caucus spokesperson Daner Abdulghafar Aziz congratulated Kurdistan24 on its 11th anniversary, praising its role covering the war on ISIS and the Peshmerga.

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) - Dr. Daner Abdulghafar Aziz, spokesperson for the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) caucus in the Iraqi parliament, congratulated Kurdistan24 on the anniversary of its founding. He extended a warm message to its management and all its staff and wished them continued success.

In his message on Saturday, Aziz said Kurdistan24 has become a leading media platform over the past 11 years for conveying Kurdistani, Iraqi and international news and events in a professional and honest manner.

Aziz said the channel has played a notable national and professional role in covering the war against ISIS terrorists. He said it has shown the sacrifices and stories of the heroic Peshmerga and carried their voice to the world.

The KDP caucus spokesperson praised the efforts and hard work of all the channel’s employees and teams, who he said have contributed to building and developing this successful media experience.

He ended his message by wishing Kurdistan24’s staff further success in serving the truth and carrying the voice of the citizens of Kurdistan to the world.

Eleven years ago, and at the same time as the war against ISIS began, the Kurdistan24 Research and Media Foundation started broadcasting. In Kurdish and five living world languages, it has become a national platform for defending the constitutional status of the Kurdistan Region and promoting the culture of coexistence.

As it enters its 12th year, the foundation is emphasizing several unchanging principles. They include putting the accuracy of news ahead of speed, protecting human dignity and family privacy over sensationalism, offering hope and protecting the psychological calm of society, and dealing wisely with artificial intelligence to prevent disinformation. On these foundations, it is moving toward a new stage of digital development and investment in the capacity of young journalists, without compromising its national and professional values.
